Living near the beaches you would think I would have gone a zillion times since moving here in September. WRONG! Sunday was the first time the Mogul bodies hit the water. Standing on the sand and letting the waves hit my legs, I was scared that a shark or stingray was going to jump out and eat me. I can be so neurotic like that.
After laying around for a couple of hours we left to do a little shopping in a local area. Right next to the Irish pizza place that smothers green cheese on their slices, was a store that was closed down.
The title of the shop? Get this…THE ALMOST EDIBLE CANDLE GOURMET SHOP. No wonder the place went KAPUT! Nothing beats a family dinner night out than chewing almost edible candles! Yum!
This beats the local ice cream shop called THE MARBLE SLAB. When I first saw that sign, I thought they sold tombstones. One time we went in there to try the ice cream and it was just horrible tasting, like SLAB! (FYI: In London there was a store that was shut down with the name “DOGGY STYLE”. That was a for pet store!)
Nearby us is a really crowd pleasing seafood restaurant near us that we had a bad run in with. My name for it? THE SNOTTY BITCH WHO WORKS AT THE CRAB SHACK
Also, there seems to be a growing trend in SOY candles. I drink and eat soy but do I really want to light one up?
You know how STARBUCKS (another silly name) is expanding to other avenues besides coffee? Well besides the record label division they’re going into hair styling.
Madonna’s new haircut after leaving the STARBUCKS DOUBLE MOCHACHINO LATTE SALON. Not sure if I like it or not but she was due for a change.
