3. White and Black …
Go classic this Spring, pick a black’n'white dress or mix your white items with black ones. Pick a white belt, black heels and black earrings, or look for a black and white necklace to complete the look.
If you’re going out after work, refresh the look with a fabulous black hair accessory featuring lace or feathers, and black lace gloves (these are so hot right now!). And you’ll surely break some hearts that night!

4. The Nude Hues …
At the other end of the scale, there’s the nude hues. The catwalk went mad for these Spring-Summer 2009, and as a result – there’s a huge range of nude colours on the rails!
Are you consider trying on something in nude? Don’t be disappointed if the first flick you put on makes you look washed out. All you need is to find the perfect hue for your skin – it might be a bit more pinkish, or grayish, just keep looking and you’ll find the hue that’s just perfect for you!
PS: I found that a slight tan helps a lot when it comes to nude colors. A good self-tanner could do the trick!
5. Colorful Bags …
I just wish I could buy these brands but I cant really afford buying all these signature bags, shoes and clothes. I guess the best thing to do is to be confident in whatever you wear. As long as you feel good about yourself, youll be fashionable whatever brand youre carrying. =)

The white French Connection reminds me of a few recent acquisitions of mine from Vogue Paris Patterns and has inspired me to start sewing them or at least pay someone else to pay them.

Wow! Those are some bold pieces! I love the look of big chunky jewelry (worn properly of course). I’ve always been very interested in fashion trends whether its accessories, clothes, or make-up. I love that the chunky stuff is making a grand return to the scene – looks like it’s time for me to break out some of my older fave pieces! I LOVE to read about all of these kinds of trends; one of my favorite sites for such stuff is probably Jewelry Information Center (www.JIC.org). They have tons of stuff about what’s in store for upcoming seasons, which is comes in particularly handy when its time to go shopping. A little while ago, I was looking for a wedding gift for my sister and was psyched to discover this nifty little “gift finder” on JIC, which allowed me to narrow down my choices by options like material, occasion, price, type of jewelry, etc.. Also, a feature that has routinely caught my attention is the “stories” section, where people of all sorts have entered their stories about their favorite piece(s) of jewelry, whether a gift for themselves or a gift from someone special. Some of the stories were really incredible, and a lot of them very touching. A few weeks back, I actually decided to submit my own story about the very first important piece of jewelry I ever got for myself when I received my first paycheck (and that I still wear to this day!). Oh! and I must say, the best part of deciding to submit my story was finding out that JIC is having a sweepstakes during which everyone who submits a story is automatically entered to possibly win a diamond necklace!! Its def. worth checking out, and soon too, because the sweepstakes is over at the end of the month!
