Skin care becomes quite a serious matter in winter (not for the lucky ones that live in Florida or California, though :) Ways to protect your skin are described in every single winter edition you stumble upon, but nevertheless, there are still a few things to know about the issue.

Your daily cream applying procedure should take place at least half an hour before you go out. If you leave earlier, it will just freeze on your face because moisturizers attract moisture & draw it into the skin and instead of protection you’ll make it really hard for your face! Creams in winter are a pure nessecity even if you have an oily type of skin. Neglecting moisturizers will lead to a quick premature ageing of your skin - the negative result will be fast and dramatic, so DO spend some time on your skin and it will definitely respond in gratitude!
