Did you know that the human body produces chemicals which are similar to THC or Tetrahydocannabinol?
According to ClickOnDetroit.com:
The body makes chemicals similar to THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, to help the skin, scientists reported.
In the journal of the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology, researchers said that learning more about so-called endocannabinoids could lead to drugs that treat acne, dry skin or skin tumors.
Now that’s an interesting concept. Researchers say that THC in marijuana protects the plants from pathogens. THC is actually the main active substance found in the Cannabis plant, and it is what’s responsible for the ‘high’ associated with smoking marijuana.
The equivalent of the THC chemical in humans is cannabinoids, which help protect our body from pathogens. It is also necessary in maintaining healthy skin.
In addition, experts said that this research could lead to the development of new skin creams which can help heal acne, dry skin or skin tumors.

wow might be true but i’ve been smoking pot since i was 13 and (now at the age of 18 I have acne … doesn’t seem to help, btw thc has an effect on your hormones which can cause acne :s
