If brights aren't your thing, try these navy patent leather d'Orsay pumps , US$485, from Davis by Ruthie Davis.They are apparently very technologically advanced with a 4.5" architectural heel with a chrome insert. I'm not sure exactly what that technology does to change the support of the heel, but at 4.5", I hope it makes it more comfortable.
