As a self-confessed Sarah Jessica Parker and Sex and the City fan, I must say this really saddens me. Hollywood kibitzers are saying that SJP and her husband of 11 years, actor Matthew Broderick, are having marital problems. Broderick reportedly had an affair with an unknown youth worker while SJP was busy filming the SATC movie last November. Breaks my heart, really.

These talks are still baseless, of course, but the fact that the rumors are still there and Broderick’s “no comment” stance make this story worth looking into. After all, it’s been quite a while since I saw this pair out together or with their son, James.

Sarah is reportedly “devastated” (as she should be! Poor thing!) by the accusations that her husband had a 3-month (!!!) affair with a 25-year old (this homewrecker should be castigated, for chrissakes!)

I hope these rumors are just that… rumors. I can’t imagine Sarah being lonely, hurt and embarrassed!
