It’s been two months since Donda West, 58, mother of Grammy award winner and hit-making producer, Kanye West, died.  Last Nov. 10, 2007 at a Los Angeles hospital, a day after she underwent breast reduction, liposuction and a tummy tuck, Kanye’s beloved mother passed away.

Has it been that long? It seems like it was just yesterday when we heard of Kanye’s grief and tragedy.

Let’s remember Donda today.

According to official report issued Jan. 10, 2008, the cause of death has not yet been determined; but the coronary artery disease, the liposuction and mammoplasty, and multiple post-operatives factors could have played a role. There has been some controversy as to what has really caused her demise. One report suggested that it could have been from a surgical complication. Donda West was found at her home unresponsive after her surgery. Five months before her death, West approached plastic surgeon Dr. Andre Aboolian of Beverly Hills, but did not operate on her on because he was concerned about her pre-existing conditon that may result to heart attack. Dr. Jan Adams who operated on Donda West has denied wrongdoing and the autopsy report revealed that there was no surgery error.
