Nu Skin Galvanic Spa Review …

Nu Skin Galvanic Spa Review …

The Gels, The Massage and The Actual Results:

There were two treatment gels, namely: the pre-treatment and treatment gels.

The pre-treatment gel with marigold, sea kelp, and vanilla extracts promises to help pores breathe and remove impurities, and condition and soothe tired skin. The treatment gel, with arginine and magnesium, helps skin recover from stress, promotes cellular energy, and further regerenerates and hydrates the skin. The end result? Refreshed, relaxed, extremely younger skin.

My experience was a wow eye opener for me. I know, it was such a big purchase, and I didn’t even feel the pain in my pocket as I bought it because it was the Holiday season and everyone’s just feeling generous and with this , ” I deserve this” thinking. Upon receiving the item from my friend ( my friend got one too, we’re both skin freaks ), I immediately checked the tool out. Wow, I finally had a nice tool which functions as a spa treatment at home! The Galvanic Spa tool was tiny, little did I know that it would yield such impressive and larger than life results.

With my experience with the facial treatment, I washed my face, and dried it. I was told that my hands are to be moist for the treatment to be effective. Okay, did that. When I applied the pre-treatment gel, and started massaging my face with the tool, I felt like my face was a tummy – ( think ultrasound, FUNNY! hahaha! ), I massaged and massaged my face until my face was dry from the gel. Next, I applied the treatment gel and did the same thing, okay, okay, massage, massage until there is no more product. Okay, done. I washed my face and checked out my complexion in the mirror.

Wow. All I could say was that, it immediately took like 3-5 years away from my face! My skin sure looked healthier, it was nowhere near the word “dull”, and do you know the feel wherein your skin just looked flat? This made my skin in 3-D again! I can almost swear my skin was more supple and younger than before. A whole lot brighter.

Never did I expect such result to happen, but I’m really really happy with my purchase because of the results it yielded on me and I’m going to be diligent enough to use this at least once a week! Whoopee!

Now really, my Galvanic Spa was the best Christmas gift for me! ( by me, again? Hahaha! )

Tata for now!

I’m looking at purchasing the Galvanic Spa from Nu Skin, but I don’t like the preservatives in the skin care line. Please send me follow up comments. Thanks

i just purchased a NuSkin and used it twice. i can see the difference; the small feathering wrinkles below my eyes are diminished and the one side of my face is tauter. i’m not sure if its due to massaging my face with the device or because of the actual galvanic stimulation. however, i do know that massage and blood circulation is needed for the skin and muscles to repair and stay healthy. i used it with aloe vera gel just as a test. it seems like any gel will do. when your skin is dry you can feel the little prickling sensations. i’ll keep using it as a massager regarless. i love gagets.
i also bought the Oxylift device and a NuFace microcurrent device… we’ll see. i love gadgets!!!

I’m not sure about this product. I had a friend from my dermatologist office come over and do a half face demo on me yesterday. She asked my husband if he saw a difference and on which side, of course he did not know or could he tell which side it worked on…? Not sure if I want to invest the money in this as I see the gels are VERY expensive and that is where they ding you. And of course you have to use those gels only with the product. I know this is a business and can’t help thinking that they are only trying to sell stuff and will tell you anything to do it. Looking young is a huge industry and everyone wants a peice of it…no one says they like looking old and these types of companies feed into this….I am still not sure if I would get this product and if I did, I would use other gel type items similar to what I have to purchase with this kit. With the economy the way it is I can’t afford to throw away my money to make others rich right now……gonna think on this one some more.

Here I am again chiming in!

So many comments deal with the cost of the Galvanic Spa and the gels.

The reality, however, is that even some of the popular drug store brands aren’t what I would call “cheap.” It’s all relative to what you call expensive.

Perhaps more importantly, though, is that in the world of commerce, someone is always getting “rich” off of your purchases. Just because a product is purchased through direct marketing doesn’t obliterate that fact. Granted there are some bad apples in direct marketing that clearly say “pyramid scheme” but NuSkin is a viable company that has been around for awhile and has credibility. They have partnered with some top notch universities on anti-aging and their stock is very strong.

It’s all a matter of what kind of investment you want(and can afford) to make toward your skin. Last, but now least, some products work better for some than others. If you can, get a demo and then you’ll really get a sense of whether the product can work for you.

    Sincerely,

    Paula

I don’t understand. I keep getting emails saying there’s an updated comment on this site, and when I go and look…. there’s nothing new at all! What’s up with that?

      Hey Marie,
As the one approving the comments, I can tell you for a fact that there are new comments on this post….atleast one everyday. This may seem like a stupid question but are you checking the last page?? It would be really funny if you didn’t read this comment either and got an email about it. Lol

I guess I’ve just learned over the years when people call out of the blue, for no reason, most times it’s because they want something….I found it interesting that the girl from my dermatologist office that did the half face demo on me said, after I asked her, that no the doctor was infact not going to carry this product. She did want me to buy it from her though, and of course, for me to become a rep. under her and to round up my friends so I could sell it to them.
I find the gels to be expensive and you need to get them once a month. Surely there is something that you could use over the counter that was not so expensive. But I know the answer to this as well…you are told not to use any other products with the unit….a great way to keep you locked into using their products only.
Now of course the ladies on here that are selling Nuskin are going to say it’s great, they are running a business and want sales. But I can’t help think there are other products that have the same ingredients as the Galvanic gels do and cost a much lower price. Just because it’s expensive and Brad Pitt uses it does not make it a good product. I’m sure Brad Pitt or whatever celebrity that uses the Galvanic Spa got it for free anyhow. After reading all of the posts on here and doing my own research online. I think I will keep my money in my pocket and continue with what I’ve been doing. I go ever other month for a chemical peel at my dermatologist. I wash my face regularly, use sunscreen and moisturizer, stay out of the sun or wear a hat and drink lots of water.
I’m not convinced that the Galvaic Spa is what it’s all cracked up to be. This is another one of these businesses like Avon,Cookie Lee,Mary Kay,Tupperware,Party Lite,Pampered Chef,Amway,BeautiControl,Herbalife,Creative Memories……etc. etc. We all know someone who has tried getting us to come to one of their parties.

Good article but this is another company trying to get me to part with my money. If it sounds to good to be true it usually is.

I have just purchased the Galvanic and have seen great results! I am concerned about the electric currents and any inference with the brain, could there be any?

      Hi, Lisa:

I guess the only interference with the brain are those “feel good” endorphins from looking good and diminishing fine lines and wrinkles I couldn’t help but add a little levity here :) Seriously, I am not aware of any interferences with the brain. Good question, though!

      Sincerely,

      Paula
