everything is a bargain in primark but only because they are made in the poorest countries in the poorest conditions. why on earth would they be so cheap then?
i am an employee of primark and i can esure you that out clothing is not made in bad conditions.
We can produec our clothing cheapley due to a 5 point plan.
1)We have no middle man, our clothes come staright from the factory to our stores.
2)we buy in bulk therefor it reduces the cost
3)we dont advertise atal, therefor we dont have to add costs to our clothes to pay for expesive advertsing campaings.
4)we only sell the most popular sizes therefor we done order what we dont need.
5)we sue simple, but good designs whih lower the cost of expesive materials and acercories.
We also have a well established ETI campaign which ensure that all our factory workers:
-paid a fair minimum wages
-they are not forced to work for us, it is there choice
-we do NOT use child labour
-they have holiday entitilements like everyone
-they have a health and saftey check
-our factories are of top condiontion.
These are just a few of the pointers on the campaign.
Our factories are also regualarly checked by HQ and and propblems are dealt with immediatley, professionaly and appropriatley.
So please don’t think for a second that primark are devil people, becuase it realy is one of the best companies to work for.
