Details: The Brooklyn Bridge is one of the oldest suspension bridges in the United States. At a length of just under 6,000 feet, it connects Manhattan and Brooklyn over the East River, and has become a recognizable part of the New York skyline. It is open to bicycles and pedestrians as well as motor vehicles.
