Reese Witherspoon’s former husband, Ryan Phillippe denied that the cause of their break-up was his blonde co-star Abbie Cornish. Phillippe said it was unfair to blame someone for the cause of their divorce and that they were really having difficulties in their marriage long before he met his co-star. In the interview, Phillippe said that the reasons of their break-up were far more complicated and far less interesting. Ryan Phillippe, 33, was famously known for his role in the movies “I know What You Did Last Summer”, “Cruel Intentions and the 2006 drama war “Flags of Our Fathers”. The couple were engaged in December 1998 and after more than seven years of being married Witherspoon filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences and it was finalized Oct. 5, 2007. The couple had 2 kids Ava Elizabeth and Deacon.
