LA County Sherriff's office held a press conference this morning saying that Paris Hilton was not released from jail early Thursday due to an unspecified medical condition but still in detention, after serving only three days of her sentence.
She must remain at her home under house arrest with an electronic monitoring ankle bracelet for 40 days, according to sheriffs spokesman Steve Whitmore.
