You Know What Looks Best on You

There is no one on this Earth (except for maybe a select few stylists) who knows what is more flattering on your body than you do. You know your body better than anyone else, and you’ve been dressing your body for your whole life. No man knows what looks better on your body than you do!

UPD:

When it comes to fashion, many women feel the need to dress to impress men. However, the most important person to dress for is yourself. You know what looks best on you and what makes you feel confident. It is essential to find a style that works for your body type and flatters your figure.

When it comes to choosing clothes, it’s important to choose items that you feel comfortable in and make you feel confident. It’s also important to pick items that you can easily mix and match to create multiple outfits. Invest in timeless pieces that you can wear for years to come. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different pieces and colors to find what works best for you.

It’s also important to keep in mind that trends come and go. Don’t be afraid to try out new trends, but don’t feel obligated to follow them either. It’s ok to break the rules and create your own unique style.

2

You Know the Trends Better than Any Guy

Let’s be real here, ladies. No straight man is following women’s fashion trends, and if they are, they probably work in women’s fashion. If your guy tries to tell you that he doesn’t like what you’re wearing, remember that you know what’s on trend and he just has no idea!

3

If They Don’t like Your Clothes, They’re Not for You

On a more serious note, if a guy consistently talks down to you about what you’re choosing to wear and put on your body, you need to get rid of him. If what you’re wearing is such an issue in his life, he’s really just not the guy for you. It may seem tough, but it’s not really worth the frustration.

UPD:

When it comes to fashion, it’s important to dress for yourself and not for a man. If your partner, or any other man in your life, has an issue with what you’re wearing, it’s time to re-evaluate the relationship. It’s not worth the frustration to try and please someone else when it comes to your clothing choices.

Your clothing choices are a reflection of your personality and style, and should be something that you’re comfortable with. If you’re not comfortable in what you’re wearing, you’ll be less confident and less likely to express yourself. Don’t let anyone else dictate what you should or shouldn’t wear.

Fashion is a form of self-expression and should be embraced. It’s a way to express your creativity and show the world who you are. If someone in your life is telling you that you can’t express yourself through your clothing choices, then it’s time to find someone who does appreciate your style.

Your Opinion Matters Most

No matter what, your opinion matters more than anyone else. No matter who is telling you that you need to be dressing a certain way—whether it’s a man in your life, a friend, a relative, or even a fashion magazine, what you think of what you’re wearing is the only opinion that matters.

5

All You Need is Confidence

Confidence is key when it comes to whatever you’re wearing. If you’re wearing something with confidence, you’ll look like a million bucks, and no one will have anything negative to say about your look. Seriously, if you can walk into a room with confidence, you will own the room!

Sometimes Things Are Just Comfortable

Is there anything more annoying than someone who uses comfortable as an insult? What’s wrong with being comfortable? We shouldn’t have to sacrifice comfort for style, and sometimes, comfort is a million times more important than style. It’s okay to err on the side of comfort now and then, and don’t listen to anyone who tells you otherwise!

UPD:

It’s important to remember that dressing for yourself is about feeling good in your own skin, not about catering to someone else’s standards. It’s important to find a balance between comfort and style. Comfort should always come first, and style should be the cherry on top. Comfort can be stylish too; it’s all about finding the right pieces that work for you.

If you’re dressing for yourself, you should never feel like you need to sacrifice comfort for style. There are so many options available now that cater to both comfort and style. You can find clothing items that are both comfortable and fashionable. There are breathable fabrics, loose-fitting clothing, and items that are soft and cozy. Even if you’re looking for something more formal, there are options that won’t sacrifice comfort.

He’s Probably Not Paying Attention in the First Place

Let’s be honest here, girls. Most men aren’t paying attention to fashion that closely in the first place. They probably don’t even notice what you’re wearing half of the time; so don’t spend your life trying to please someone who’s not even paying attention to your fashion choices!

What is your biggest rule when it comes to fashion? Do you dress for you and no one else? Why do you refuse to dress for anyone else? Or why do you follow what other people want to see you wear? Let me know in the comments!

Either way no drama

As Elizabeth said earlier, my clothes express who I am and how I feel - It is not up to a man to dictate how I dress, I expect him to appreciate and love me for being the unique individual that I am and that includes my choice of clothes

If you dress up for you, then your man will love you more!

Always love dressing up for myself :)

I dress up for my man because I know you likes it. Plus the clothes will come off sooner than later lol

Very good points! Sometimes my husband questions why I paired certain pieces together and I explain it and he was just curious. Other times he likes to pick out the jeans that look good on me, or that too that's most flattering.

Although, for the most part, I agree with all these points (especially dumping a man who puts down how you dress!) once in a while, if you're in a loving relationship, you should want to dress for your man. Mine gave me a dress as a gift that isn't my style at all, but I still wear it sometimes because seeing how his face lights up is an even better feeling than wearing something I love.

Love this article! Thanks for posting, all of these points are spot on.
