This weekend the Mogul family went clubbing. I’m still hung over from M&M’s as I write this. The party, called Baby Loves Disco, is catered for children six months to seven years old. I am going to tell you about the underground club scene you never knew about. Read on!

While we were walking toward the club I could see a beefy bodyguard standing at the door. I wasn’t worried about getting in though. We were on the guest list (every mogul should be on one). We parked our stroller and sauntered in. The moment reminded me of all my partying days in NYC where the joy of sticky floors meant you were not home alone watching late night television.

The atmosphere was pretty wild. Infants in Baby Bjorns jiggling their limbs, little boys looking cool in the corner booths, and girls with face make-up swaying with hula hoops. Upstairs in the chill out room I observed pre-schoolers doing “E”s…as well as their “A..B..C”s. Baby Mogul wanted to go back to the action downstairs so we followed him to the bar where snacks such as pretzels, popcorn, goldfish crackers, and cheese cubes awaited us.

The kid had so many martini ala Hershey Kisses that I had to literally CARRY him out of the club. The sun hit our faces and I could hear a little girl asking, “Excuse me, can you tell me where the diaper changing station is?”

It was a fun time and I think our baby has the clubber gene!
