A book has just come out that shows you how to answer questions like that -- and it's funny as hell too. The title of course is:

Honey, Does This Make My Butt Look Big?
A Couple's Guide to Food And Body Talk

Tyler is absolutely right! But I'd add one thing regarding the jeans and whether they make you look fat. 10 to 1, if you're asking that you already think they do - or you wouldn't ask. So what's the guy supposed to do? Lie? You're not going to believe him if he doesn't agree with you and his value and integrity are compromised if he lies and you know it's a lie. And if he's honest and agrees, your feelings will be hurt. So to a man, asking that question makes it seem like you're deliberately trying to destroy the relationship.

Women so often unknowingly or with full knowledge put men on the defensive then blame him for being defensive. Just don't do it! Unless you want the relationship to end.
