It’s a girl! For Hollywood-country superstar couple Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban.
Kidman gave birth to a baby girl early this morning in Nashville, TN, with her husband Keith Urban by her side. Over the weekend, Keith dedicated a song at one of his concerts to his “very, very, very, very, VERY pregnant wife!” so it sounds like they knew that baby was just around the corner.
In a recent statement released by Keith’s publisher, the couple has already named the baby: Sunday Rose Kidman, and she weighed a healthy 6 lbs. 7.5 oz.
This is the 41-year old actress’ first biological child. During her relationship with Tom Cruise, they adopted two children: Connor and Isabella.
Meanwhile, proud daddy Keith announced at his website:
“Earlier this morning Nic gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban. We want to thank everybody that has kept us in their thoughts and prayers. We feel very blessed and grateful that we can share this joy with all of you today.”
Despite the trouble that the couple has undergone during the first six months of their marriage when Keith checked himself into a rehab, Nicole stuck with her husband’s side.
It’s a great thing that she did, because it looks like the Grammy-award winning singer is all ready to become a doting father to Sunday Rose.
Nicole must be very happy. She has patiently waited for a baby and now she has her own Sunday Rose.
