I have worn acrylic nails for several years and within the last 6 months I have decided to go with my natural nails. My problem is that my nails are damaged from many years of abuse. I cannot get my natural nails to grow due to them peeling. What do you recommend to heal my nails? Is there a vitamin that can be taken for helping peeling nails?

One more issue, I have had both of my large toenails removed so I not longer have any toenails at all. Do you know of any artifical nail solution for someone like me? I would like to wear open toed shoes but am embarrased. I have tried to use the artifical nails that you buy over the counter but they will not last and fall off after a day or so.

Please advise

Thank you

[...] Take care of your cuticles, always keep an emery board handy and always use a clear polish to add that extra sheen if your nails are short. [...]
