I took a few more pictures of the cut, for my friend Karri, who wanted to see it from all angles (here's a profile shot).
I washed it this morning, and then my blow dryer suddenly quit working. I was still able to make it look pretty good, though, which was a relief. Also, the sides are a little longer than they look (I have it tucked behind my ears in this pic), so I can create several different looks of varying wilderness.
I still think it doesn't look too great in the photos, but I love it in real life. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it, especially from guys (who usually try to bully me into never cutting my hair, it seems). We'll see how it goes down with my fianc
