If you’re as famous as Miley Cyrus aka Hannah Montana, you can’t create an anonymous e-mail account without having your pictures stolen by some hacker who wants to either brag or try to make big bucks.
Last Monday, 19-year old Josh Holly, who published provocative photos of the Disney star, was raided by the FBI in Tennessee. Apparently, the hacker bragged about breaking into Miley’s e-mail account and stealing the photos that she supposedly sent to Nick Jonas.
By the end of the FBI raid, Holly’s phone and three computers were confiscated. He has not been charged with a crime yet. Holly previously tried to sell Miley’s pics to TMZ.com and other media outlets, but nobody bought them because they were obtained illegally.
The FBI in Tennessee did not respond to a call for comment. The U.S. attorney’s office for the Middle District of Tennessee, where the warrant was obtained, said it would not confirm or deny that a search had occurred.
So that’s what you get for hacking into a tween superstar’s email account and getting nothing but pouting photos of her trying to ’seduce’ her rockstar boyfriend.
