If only Mariah Carey would wear more designer clothes appropriate for her age – we can all heave a sigh of relief.

The notorious Mrs. Nick Cannon took the stage at the Radio City Music Hall for the Fashion Rocks event and for once – her stunning dress looked more suitable for her age.

It’s a straight-off-the-runway look as she wore a crystal and sequin skyline tulle by Pamella Roland. It’s a hot item from her Fall 2008 collection.

I don’t even mind that she wore a gown while singing an uptempo song – I just wish that her fashion choices in the future would be more like this and less of the bomber-jacket/super-mini-skirts which make her look like a ridiculous 15-year old!
