Don’t let his diminutive size and black-rimmed eyeglasses fool you. When it comes to high-luxe feminine fashion, Alber Elbaz is the go-to guy.

Since the fall of 2001, he has been creating gorgeous pieces under the house of Lanvin – which has been a favorite of celebs like Liv Tyler. For the label’s Spring 2009 collection held at the runways of Paris, the designer became uber-successful in featuring garments which, as he himself said: “made life easier for women”.

From his intricate twist on the LBD, to the two-toned, block-shaped dresses – the collection showcases everything that’s high fashion and feminine. My personal to-die-for piece is the green, sorta-one-shouldered short evening gown with the detailing on the side of the skirt. Lol, I may not exactly know how to describe the dress in all its gorgeousness, but it’s definitely a piece that makes me hyperventilate in anticipation!
