Kiefer Sutherland, 41, the star of Fox television drama “24”, has been released from jail at around 12:05 am, Jan 21, ’08 after serving 48 hours on a drunken driving charge, according to People magazine. I wonder if this will be the last drunken driving-related arrest for the star?
He was arrested on Sept. 25 for driving with a .22 blood alcohol level and in November, he pleaded no contest on the charge against him. He was sentenced 30 days as well as 18 days for violating probation which stemmed from his drunken driving arrest in 2004. Police officer, John Balian says, Sutherland spent his sentence cleaning sheets, pillowcases and blanket in laundry duty. He must serve five years probation and complete an 18-month alcohol education program and attend weekly therapy sessions for 6 months.
All I can say — it’s so “24″!
