The latest country music singer is on the cover of Elle Magazine’s September 2008 edition. Yep, it’s none other than pop singer, Texas native and former wife of Nick Lachey, Jessica Simpson. The very same girl who mistakenly told current flame Tony Romo’s family that she’s pregnant when she’s not. The very same girl who doesn’t know the difference between chicken and tuna. OMG. Let’s give it to this girl — she has so much gall to try new things. While I’m not too sure if her singing chops are really fit for the country genre, at least she tried. I’m sure her debut country album, entitled “Do You Know,” will fare well. The album’s out on September 9.
