Fashion Alert: there’s a new trend in fashion magazines that we love to pore over! It’s Hollywood celebs donning designer frocks – with the designer themselves.

That’s exactly what Elle US magazine did for their October 2008 issue. No less than Jennifer Lopez graced the editorial spread – and the results are absolutely fun, high-fashion and amazing!

My personal favorite shots are the ones where JLo is looking all glammed up with designer Michael Kors – the one with Brian Atwood is uber-sensual and the one with Marchesa is oh-so-fun!

I do think that this trend should carry on – it’s great to see the bigwig fashion designers that we love being featured and photographed alongside their celebrity models.
