The best asana for you to do in order to tone up that skin is called Bhujang Asana. Lay down flat on your stomach and raise your face up off of the ground as much as you can.

Applying collagen cream to your stomach area three times a day will help out. You should give the collagen moisture enough time to soak into your skin.

15. Don’t eat sweets or products that have fructose syrup in them …

There’s fifteen tips to tighten lose skin after weight loss. Also, for exercise, you can lay flay on your back and lift your legs half way into the air. I’m 29 years old. I have been overweight pretty much my whole life.
My highest weight was 310. I had my gall bladder removed due to gall stones about 4 years or so ago I think it was? The doctor that did my surgery was so concerned about my weight that he sent me to consider gastric bypass surgery. After checking into it and doing an orientation for it, I decided against it.
However, it did open my eyes that I needed to lose weight. Within a few weeks, I started taking some diet pills. I lost a total of 60 lbs over the next year and then quick taking the pills. I started taking them back about a year later and lost another 20 lbs.
I lost a total of 80 lbs and went down to 229 lbs.
I have gained 13 lbs back over the last few months because I’m 8 months pregnant.
I’m not worried about my skin getting stretched out due to my pregnany because I already have so much loose skin from all the previous weight loss! So basically, the baby is just filling out all the skin that’s already still there.
I’m wishing that I had not lost that 80 lbs so quickly. I have no doubt that was one main reason I have so much skin left.
I worry about how bad and saggy it looks. I’m also worried that when I start losing more weight after the baby is born, that it will only get worse.
Following the birth of our baby, I am planning to go back on a diet. But I’m planning to do it right this time. Without any diet pills. I’m going to eat healthy and excersize regularly, every week. Hopefully I will still lose weight but in a healthier way and at a better, slower pace.

I’m hoping this will help prevent anymore loose skin.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a healthy smart way of losing weight and preventing anymore loose skin? And/or how to help tighten the loose skin that I already have after my 80 lbs weight lost?

I am just 15 and I am on a health diet and i have tried to lose weight. I think I’m at a good weight now. But Everytime I eat my stomach looks really big. And when I sit down it rolls up and I look really fat. When I stand up I look hot though… I’ve also been doing alot of crunches and leg lifts (ab exorcizes) and it’s made my stomachlook bigger! My stomach feels really hard when I hit it, but when I sit down i still get the rolls. What am I supposed to do? :( Pleeease help me.

Hmm… Maybe you lost some weight very fast and the skin on your tummy didn’t have time to catch up? If so, it will in a couple of months. Meanwhile, I’d suggest you massage your stomach, moisturize it well (some organic body oil could be great for this) and keep doing crunches.

Hi, I have a question about flabby skin. If the cause of flabby skin is losing the weight quickly then how come the people on the show the Biggest Loser look well. They dont have flabby skin? Whats up with that. I am also looking to loose weight but i am concerned about flabby skin.

I wouldn’t call it losing weight fast – those guys are working their butts off for weeks and weeks… And if you do the same amount of exercise and have a good diet with it, you’ll too lose the weight without getting flabby skin. No worries :)

I know how hard it might be sometimes to find time for exercises, but please try to find about 15 minutes a day and you’ll see a great improvement in a very short time. What I used to do when I didn’t have much time, I’d exercise while watching my fav TV show late at night… Of course it’s not the best time, but it’s better than nothing :)

Good luck to you, dear Ashley!

I have to say that after joining a gym and losing 45 pounds in 7 months, and working out faithfully, there is a drawback with leftover skin.I had the leftover baby fat on my stomach in which had lost the elasticity. There was no way to get that tightned up.I went and had smartlipo done.It really does wonders. You’re not put under the knife.I didn’t even have to take anything. Now don’t confuse liposuction with smartlipo.A big difference between the two.And the down time is minimal. But I do have loose skin on my arms and on the sides under my arms.I was getting a bit confused as to why I can’t get that tightend up.But after reading on here that you have to keep working at it.I know I can get those other smaller areas toned up.

      Tara,
Technology is amazing really! I am one of those who wouldn’t want to ever consider surgery in order to alter my looks. But procedures like Smartlipo sound relatively less crazy and not as invasive. Thanks for sharing that! And good luck with the loose skin on your arms :)
