Do you prefer straight hair? Well, I have fantastic news for you: classic straight traces are very “IT” this year!
Parted in the middle, this hair style looks even more fabulous!

Wash your hair, preferably give it a moisturizing treatment before styling. Air dry it well, make sure there are no damp hairs what so ever, otherwise you will make a major damage while straightening it. Then spray some heat protection on it and get to work with your straighteners.
First, split your parting down the middle, but try to keep it shallow. Then, straighten the hair in small strips, so that the hair is more heated and likely to stay straight for longer. Work your way from the back of the head to the front, and from the bottom to the top. Take your time.
Make sure you put the same pressure on the straightener all the way when you pull it through your hair, don’t linger on one strand if you do not want to damage your hair. And make sure your straightener temperature set on minimum, so that your hair doesn’t get fried. When you are done, put a little bit of a leave-in moisturizer (or oil) in your palm, brush your hand through your hair.

I love that wavy hair is in! I have very wavy hair and it was going crazy the other day and I was hating it! But now that I see this, I love my hair! I’ve always loved it but just battled with the frizz!!

I hear you! I too have curly and sometimes a bit frizzy hair and I couldn’t do anything with it, except have it done in a salon every now and then. Until my new hair stylist (God bless that girl) said that I should get a set of hair rollers (flexi-rods – they are the easiest to use and they do not damage your hair) and style my hair at home!

What I do is I wash it, air dry it until it’s half dry, and without brushing it, start curling my hair. I take a little section and curl it from the end all the way up and then just flex the roller so that the hair is fixed in that position.
When you are done, you’ll have to wait an hour or so before you remove the rollers. I sometimes use hair dryer for about 3-5 minutes before removing the rollers just to make sure the curls are dry.
Once I take the rollers out, I run my fingers through the locks, to give my hair more volume and then I spray just a little bit of Hairspray all over.
My hair looks fab, freeze free for about 3 days. All the curls look just right, as if the hair was styled in a salon. And the best part is that you do not use any electric curlers/irons to style it – so your hair stays healthy too!
PS: please do not look at this picture, I think that was 4th day and we just got out of the plane :)
