OMG! In case you didn’t know, the John Bartlett show was chock full of HOTTIES! Models, I mean. One sexy guy after another strutted the runway, and they all looked like a modern day James Dean. From the high hair and full eyebrows, down to their strut and swagger, every single model had that signature übersexy James Dean look. Here’s a shot of Kyle Wood (from Request Models) and Jameson (from IMG Models) – my two picks for the most handsome John Bartlett catwalkers…

As for the clothes, Bartlett’s take on fall fashion is all neutral. Although there was a splash of red here and there, everything else was ecru, camel, olive, chocolate, gunmetal, and of course, black! All the pieces were sleek and perfectly tailored; think American-preppy meets Italian-chic. His spin on the classic men’s suit? A scarf casually swung over the right shoulder. While the show wasn’t celeb heavy, it was definitely fashion-insider heavy; Simon Doonan (creative director of Barneys New York) and Tim Gunn of Project Runway fame watched intently from the front row.

I had a chance to hang out backstage, and even briefly chat with the master menswear designer. Here’s what he had to say: India-Jewel: Good morning! In less than an hour, this madness will all be over… John Bartlett: I’m so excited! I love showing first (at 10 am) because by 11 O’clock, I’m home walking my dog!
