Valentino broke a haute couture tradition and took his autumn winter 2007/08 collection home to Rome after a 17 year absence. And he didn't disappoint is fans, with a 64 look collection (usually couture collections consist of no more than 40 looks) featuring his trademark lipstick red gowns taking centre stage at a 12th century basilica near the Vatican.
