@Amber Green, have you tried BB creams? The real ones from Korea, some of them have good coverage and are light enough. I'm the same as you, super pale, no pink or yellow undertones. The other thing I use is a pure white foundation like Manic Panic Goth White and mix it with another foundation till I get a shade that is right for me.
I'm really wondering about that dainty doll liquid foundation, sometimes I like my Matte look, other times I like that smooth look, I bought Clique Matte foundation in the palest shade and it was still to dark on me, it looked orange.
I have the same problem as @cassiecalbreth, except that even the L'Oreal True Match Porcelain was also too dark for my skin. My skin really is as white as you get, I have no pink or yellow undertones whatsoever. I have tried the palest in Illamasqua, M.A.C, L'Oreal, FaceFix, Grimas, Matrix and Nars, but still no luck. Does anyone have any oter suggestions?
I swear by Yves Saint Laurent Touché Éclat Foundation. It is absolutely amazing, and comes in so many shades that there is a match for every skin tone!
I am quite pale(as are many natural redheads), I'm talking vampiric pale. The ivory color was too pink for my skin, and the yellow was too yellow. But L'ORÉALS True Match in the color Porcaline is perfect, I'd recommend it to anyone with the same problem.
It's hard to find the right colour for my skin, I'm very pale but not very pale at the same time (lol) I bought two foundations in 'Ivory' one was too dark and the other was too light, I mixed them together and it's perfect :)
@Megan there is an independent makeup brand called Meow Cosmetics I have heard a lot of good things about. They have some very white foundations and you can order a sample of anything from their site for just $1.
Make up forever is too dark for my skin, I've tried it before. I cannot buy illamasqua in Canada sadly so I've never tried it. Revlon tests on animals so I refuse to buy from them. Bare Minerals is too dark I've tried it. Lancôme tests on animals, Bobbi Brown tests on animals, Smashbox tests on animals. But even the foundations I've found that are light enough for my skin make me look all pink thanks to my yellow undertones. Sigh. Vampire problems. Once I'm done with my other 7 foundations I've bought that are failures I'm going to order some yellow toned foundation and white foundation to mix from yaby. Or I'll try OCC make up and get an airbrush kit.
I happen to have yellow undertones and be really pale, (not asian though), and all foundations I've tried make me look pink... the stores where I live don't seem to have all the colors either..💢
