Great piece, nearly even made me cry thinking how great and wonderful my mother is and if I turn out half as caring ,patient and beautiful inside and out as my mother I will be very happy.touching piece thanks 😊
I'm only 14 and I appreciate and understand this article. Even if my mom always get angry to me, even if sometimes I get hurt because she have a boyfriend while my stepfather is away from us, even if those problems come to us, she never forgot to take care of me, she never forgot how to teach me not to be a lazy girl but to be a lady with a confidence to achieve a beautiful life. Naaa.. I Love Her :)
@Vicki u are so right couldn't agree with u more and even tho my mom is not perfect I have learned a lot from her that will stay with me and can only hope I can one day pass down good life lessons and tools to my children
Im so grateful for a mother like mine who likewise, taught me all these things and then some. Unfortunately, we now live in a time where babies are having babies and don't have any clue how to raise a child since they themselves
are still in the process of becoming mature women.
Beautiful! My mother, along with your list, taught me patience, tenacity, independence, to stand up and fight for what I believe in, confidence, inner beauty, and SO much more! Awesome article 😊
This made me smile so much. This reminds me of all the things my mom has taught me. This makes my a lot more grateful of my mother. For she has taught me a lot. A lot of theses things my mom had taught me and it makes me feel warm inside and very blessed to have her. 💓
This is one of those articles that makes me wish my mum was still with me. I'm only 15, but my mums been dead since I was 5 months old. I can't miss her because I never knew her, but I miss the things I could've learned from her.
Everything you said about your mother is true for me as well. I'm 27 from Lakeland FL. My mothers life was very hard growing up. She is from an abusive home and at a young age, gave up her first son up for adoption. From that point on she was bound and determined to turn her life around. She then joined the army after marrying my father in 1980, traveling Europe and then having me in 86. What an inspiration she has been. We found my brother a year ago and he has just been such a blessing to our family. So many sacrifices are made in our life time, so is important to take precious moments to appreciate all the same things. Many thanks for this post :)
