I love this list - yes you posted it forever ago - only a few things I wasn't interested in I've done a few of them as a child when I lived in Italy but I would definitely love to revisit and check off of this list
Thanks for this article. My dream was always to travel the world. So far Iโve been to many states and national parks in the US Including Hawaii, Malaysia, Africa, Europe, various Carribean islands and cruises. I love going to a foreign country and get the true feel of where I am (not just the tourist areas) and learn how they live. Not only does it make me grateful for my life, but grateful for having the opportunity to meet such authentic wonderful People. I canโt wait to plan my next trip! http://oxter.in
Just got back from Easter island! It was soo incredible! But they actually were all (but one) built facing inland to protect the tribes. Not out to the sea. :)
Thanks for the effort that must have gone into the list! It's truly wonderful. I will definitely be looking back on it when it's time for the next vacation.

Hi Kaitlyn, It is such a shame that thanks to damage etc they have limited the access to Stonehenge (I went many years ago when you could still walk around and touch the stones), but that doesn't diminish that it is one of the most incredible sights of Western Europe. Egypt has its Pyramids, Rome has its Colosseum, Asia has its ancient temples and Central and South America also have their pyramids. Stonehenge is one of Western Europe's major contributions to marvels from antiquity, hence its inclusion. But Bath too, is a gorgeous place - just not a bucket list destination in my opinion because there are plenty of pretty towns of historical significance all over the world.

Oh gawd Joanna - sorry yes!! I noticed it as I read through last night and have already got the edit in process! Silly mistake I ma
de there.
I have done 3 and a half! I went to Hawaii but not the big island. And when I lived in England, we had a week of doing tourist type things with my mum and I was asleep in the car when we went past stone henge. :/ thank mother. But apparently it really isn't that great. I saw from a very distant distance and that's just as cool as as close as they will let you. You cannot get very near at all. Bathe is much cooler place in England. Went there the same day!
Ps. I'm only 13 so I plan and doing a lot more in the future! Going to Hawaii when I'm 15 after I get scuba certified! I'm not spoiled or anything.. Promise.
Great list - but number 46 should be whale watching in Kaikoura. Rotorua is an inland land in the North Island of New Zealand and so no whales. Kaikoura on the east coast of the South Island is the place to see whales - usually sperm whales and also dolphins and seals.
