The handmade stuffs are surprising, just as @lilo said. My boyfriend once crafted a picture frame, which held our picture and a saying "I will love you forever". As if that wasn't enough, he had a #Minuteoflife marker on it that I scanned and viewed an augmented personal video message. It was just out of this world. A gift that looks that ordinary and possessed that level of technology. You just need to check it out for yourself at http://minuteoflife.com/

Amit

Melissa
A great gift for women is also a Karmin G3 Salon Pro Styling Iron, especially if she likes to style her hair and look fab. This is a pro model so it has healthy ceramic tourmaline plates and 460F in temperatures.
Sheila
Hi Mary,
You should try Etsy. So many amazing covers and cases there!
mary
I am looking for a sexy style iphone 4 case or wallet for my iphone 4s. any suggestion ?
Denise
I think you're taking the comment in the wrong light. I would totally give someone cash or gift certificates if I didn't know what to get him/her.
mmm
what is difference between money and your FACE? lol
Sheila
Lol! Now that I think of it, I have to agree.
Thanks for stopping by! :)

I find these gifts very unimaginative, they all reek of "I didn't know what to get you so here is a cheap piece of shit that means nothing to me, I want you to have it because I'm supposed to give you a gift"...
Especially a pedometer, what on earth? Expect a slap in the face. You're calling her fat.
tiffany
your right....
Denise
Hey there. These were merely suggestions. It just really depends on your personal preferences. But I agree -- it's always nice to receive cash.
Thanks for reading All Women Stalk!
Anonymous
I would not like any of these things. Cash is best, then silver jewery.
Sheila
Hi Melanie,
Well, what does she like doing? maybe we can suggest something based on her hobby?
Melanie
My mom would have no use for almost every one of these. She hates it when I bake.

i am usually out of ideas when thinking about gifts for my gf and these 20 inexpensive gifts really makes me think in a different way now.
Monica
I will take the wine, food and coffee cards, and herbs...but everything else is useless, ESPECIALLY bath stuff. Nothing says, "I have no idea who you are" like bath stuff.

Great Post! I have been looking for that unique gift for my wife for Christmas and your post has given me some great ideas. Keep up the great posts
Sheila
Hi Bianca,
Sorry about that hun! The post was published a year ago so there is a good chance you won't find some of the things on there. Looks like the product you found is close enough and it should work. I'm sure your mom will love it!
Janice
It is great to see that the thought is more important than the cost. Another idea would be to support local craftspeople by checking out the buy_local option on etsy.com with their many inexpensive and unique items. Check out your own local community!
bianca
i saw your list, great idea!...im particulary intrested in number 17 ( mini herb garden ) for my mom, since she loves to cook with fresh herbs, but is wasting money on buying them when all the do is go bad in a few dys before she can even use them. I tried to open the lin, but when it opens it says product not available. I looked it up on the site again and it gave me this:
http://www.arenaturals.com/Growing-Wishes-Kit-Gift_p_422.html
is this the same thing as on here?? if not do you know where else i could find an herb garden like the one posted on this list?
Jen
This is a really neat list -- thanks for writing it! If you are interested, my site has all the facts about women's favorite gifts according to marketing research.

I think hair accessories like barrettes with colored stones are a good idea, I just got gifted my mom one.
Lioness
I love candles and i know many of my girlfriends love receiving them as gifts. Candle holders are also a great idea, a lot of people collect them and you can never have too many.

I just want to share with the people all over the world how much i love my girlfriend mary grace guanzon.
Sheila
Hey Julia,
Nothing like chocolate, flowers and a romantic dinner to get a girl's heart beating I guess :)
Thanks for stopping by!
Sheila
Hey Stephanie,
Oh baskets are the best! I love giving and receiving them. There's just so much more to look forward to with a basket. Thanks for stopping by! :)
Stephanie
I really enjoyed reading your post, you gave me a couple more gift giving ideas I can use for my next Secret Sister gift!
I like to take a couple elegant looking products and place them in a beautiful basket.
Julia
*a cute collection of chocolate
(think classy.... dollar stores are pulling it off)
*a CD burned from the computer with a full album of a band she really likes
(it shows that you took the time to do that little teadious work for her.....you werethinking of her)
*a colourful put together of flowers
(roses are expensive so make sure it looks pretty and not horribly arranged by a guy. Ask for help!!)
*a new funky lipgloss or lip balm that you like too
(she'll know you actually like it unlike her other sticky ones or whatever)
*a nice new romantic candle for when you want to get close
(everytime she lights it she'll be reminded that yoa have this deep, thoughtful, and romantic side)
that's a few.... :]
Sheila
Hey anamika,
I agree that I value the thought process behind the gift more than the price of it. I've had some gifts over the past few years which meant a lot more than their real worth because of the thought, emotion & effort put into them! Though if I had a guy who ALWAYS gave me just those and never material gifts.. i'd leave him :)
Anamika
Many men normally do not get beyond red roses, Candies or Chocolates in heart shaped boxes, teddy bears with I love you, Movies or Concerts, Candle light dinners or Pink Cards trimmed with red colored hearts and all of them are cheap. I value the feelings with which a gift is given than its actual value. Nice Gift ideas you have here.
Theo
hahaha gift cards!
Sheila
Hey Theo,
you're right that the price with no thought behind it doesn't really matter. though I really do appreciate good jewellery, i'd rather have clothes and/or shoes! :)
Theo
I'm not a jewelry girl but fresh picked flowers or possibly a serenade will do. Red Velvet Cupcakes too! honestly, love this list. price doesn't really matter unless it's given with love :)
Sheila
Hey there Lynn,
You're right - there's no time of the year to STOP gifting :).
Lynn

Sheila
Xannyyy,
Oo it is! Any idea what it is??
Xannyyy
Sheila,
Nice thoughts of gifts. I bet my man would appreciated this help. But I guess my present is under the tree already!! :)
Sheila
Hey Diana,
Thanks hun! I love anything handmade. It's just so special and precious :)
Sheila
Hey Amy,
I absolutely agree! :)
I've been in a "money is tight<del datetime="2009-12-18T02:42:36+00:00"> non-existent" situation enough times to appreciate the thought behind any present no matter how elaborate or small.
Amy
These are all great gifts!
But honestly, I would be glad because a person I love is sending me a present at all. Sometimes money is tight and not everyone can drop and hundred bucks on a very elaborate present.
It's the thought that counts.. cliched but it is!
Diana
Sheila this is a great list! Every time I go to a craft store for my scrapbooking stuff I see handmade jewelry items there and think about making some...but havent yet! My fiance got me a beautiful velvet journal a few years ago...I love it. :)
Sheila
Hey Bella,
Thanks so much! I'm glad I could make your life just a tad easier :) Don't worry about rude comments. They are usually "taken care of" :p
Bella
Sheila, like always, great post. I would like to express my gratitude for the time you've put in this post. At times it's so difficult to come up with ideas for simple gifts for teachers, coworkers, neighbors or even to use as stocking stuffers. All of the items you've featured would fit the bill. I especially like the journal and the personalized stationery!
Bella
It's such a shame when people who don't have constructive things to say still take the time to make despective comments that ruin it for the rest of us. I, personally, would be extremely grateful to receive any of the gifts featured in this post.
Sheila
Louise,
I love scented candles. They're sooo romantic :)
Thanks a bunch for sharing!
Sheila
Hey Maria,
Some of those things do look interesting though I wouldn't necessarily pick any of those to give away as gifts. Thanks for sharing though :)
Maria
I bought some gifts from a very cool site that was for women and teens. It's called Ragtotes.com and sells period stuff. The gifts are cheap ($3 - $10) and very unique. I think it's cool too that the people seem to be attempting to reclaim "on the rag".

My Favourite Scented Candles are I Conjure Candles.
They are made with Pure Essential Oils, Natural Wax and each candle has it's own Visualisation.
Angelina Joile used the "Them" Candle to bag Brad Pitt!!
My favourite Books are anything by Joyce Carol Oates.
Sheila
Hey Jamel.
Thanks for stopping by. If price is not an issue, here's a post with some fab choices!
http://allwomenstalk.com/20-best-gifts-for-your-woman/
Hope these were of help! :)
jamel
hi my name is jamel and i need help finding my wonderful wife a 30s birthday gift some thing nice thank you.
Daisy
I hear you..but if you saw the bags in person you'd see why - they are very adult. When an older girl gifts it to a friend - it's symbolic. I was very very surprised when my sisters shared them - but there friends were VERY touched :) So I thought I would share. This is a great gift for a older tween sister to gift her younger sister - They always want to be like their older sisters and this helps them feel connected.
Thanks for the comments!
Sheila
Hey Daisy Cook,
As a 23 year old, i don't know if I would gift that to any girlfriend of mine but I'm sure ourteen readers will love it! Thanks for sharing :)
Sheila
Dragonfly,
Ooo yes to the multifunctional hat/scarf/glove combo!
dragonfly
A cool and funky scarf or hat/scarf/glove combo is always welcomed.
Daisy
I design hangbags for preteen girls. The brand is Rebelle Friendship Bags - Friendship bags are handbags you can mix, match and share with your friends.
Please check out the recent launch of Friendship Bags on QVC.

The funny thing here is that these bags are made like adult handbags. If you have a friend you haven't seen in a while - it may even be cute gift for your adult girlfriend...I've so far seen my sisters both in their 20's gift them to friends and they cried..they were so touched. Then my aunt send one to her BFF in California....For $35.00 it's a great gift

BOOK is my favorite gifts.
A replica handbags also OK.

The only gift on this list I can see enjoying is the bottle of wine, in fact I would needed it to handle the rest of the terrible gifts. This seems to be a list of all those gifts that get thrown into storage or regifted right after the party ends.

You have given some great ideas. I especially like the idea of buying her a book from one of her favorite authors, or a candle in a color/scent that she especially likes.
Thanks for the ideas.
