I always wore my hair long since it grew fast (short haircuts never lasted more than 4 weeks) and was thick and blond and pretty. This summer we have been in a heatwave since ...See more May and I am in and out of my car all day, and needed a cooler cut so I had it cut very short, and she talked me into a perm. I love the coolness, the ease and change, but feel I need a more grown-up style. Any suggestions for short, curly hair that can look frumpy at times? I love fashion, and have begun sewing again to get some of the styles, etc. I love in my petite, hard to fit size.
