Jessica Biel did it for Harper’s Bazaar –with ho-hummm results; and Jennifer Lopez did it for Elle magazine with a brilliant spread as a result.

I’m talking about designers being featured alongside celeb models in editorials for fashion magazines.

The next young celebrity to follow suit is Emma Watson in a fashion spread for Harper’s Bazaar UK. The budding fashionista of Harry Potter fame was also featured in Vogue Italia’s September 2008 issue.

My favorite shot is her creepy-ish photo with designer Vivenne Westwood. As for the rest, I think that she looked too stiff and her eyes didn’t quite have that “fierce” supermodel expression.

Anyway, Emma’s a bit young for us to expect her to do as good of a job as JLo did for her Elle shoot. As for the concept of celebs posing with designers – I think it should be the next big trend in fashion – I love it!
