Did Ellen DeGeneres actually start a dance-off between presidential candidate Barack Obama and his wife Michelle? According to TheInsider.com, an upcoming taped episode of the show will feature a clip where Senator Obama was asked by Ellen to rate who the better dancer is: him or Michelle.

Here’s what the Democratic candidate had to say:

Michelle may be a better dancer than me, but I’m convinced that I’m a better dancer than John McCain,” Obama playfully tells Ellen. Ellen also urges Obama to use his political cachet to convince pal George Clooney to appear on her show, an aspiration she has dubbed “George Watch ‘08.”

As compared to other daytime shows, “The Ellen DeGeneres” show is the one that I love the best so far. The host’s enthusiasm and the way that she interacts with the audience and her guests – celeb or non-celeb – will just plain make you smile!
