Joining the ranks of Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima, Gisele Bundchen and Tyra Banks, 23-year old Doutzen Kroes takes the stage as the new Victoria’s Secret Angel.

According to People Magazine, this Netherlands native scored the modeling contract right after she sent her photo to an agency in the hopes of earning just enough cash to buy herself more fashion magazines!

The blonde, blue-eyed, 5’10” beauty has already made it to the covers of Time Magazine, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Numero.

Included in her portfolio are modeling works for Valentino, D&G, Tommy Hilfiger, Escada, Versace, Calvin Klein & Gucci.

I do think that she’s a perfect fit for the label – with all that innocent-yet-sexy, sultry stare that she has for the cameras (which I secretly wish to imitate, lol!).
