The National Enquirer reports Monjack was arrested on expired visa charges in the middle of the night on March 27 - just over a month before the couple’s rushed marriage. Simon Monjack is a con man and not a very nice human being. I worked with him on a film called Two Days Nine Lives. He owes a lot of people and a lot of companies a lot of money. He will not be able to make another film in Britain thats for sure. I don’t know how he sleeps at night.
I feel sorry for Brittany Murphy and hope she gets out before he causes her too much heartache.
I can’t remember the guy’s name, but Simon Monjack reminds me of that guy that Anne Hathaway dated for so long. Same cold eyes and cocky stance. Look at the photos of Anne with that guy and she is always leaning in to him, hugging him etc. obviously adoring him and this Simon guy looks the same. Brittany adoring him and he looking pasty and like he deserves her. Hmmm. She is so talented, such a great voice and so fun and he just seems like a used car salesman. No offense to car salesman…but you know what I am saying. Slick….slimy. Hope she is careful. Glad Anne H. got away from her guy too. Ick.
