Bohemian girl Frederique Trou-Roy was between jobs, so she decided to wander around Morocco (good choice!). While there, she scoured the street workshops, hunted for old scarves, and had the local craftsmen make leather shopping bags with metal detailing and sequin-embroidered wicker baskets for her. From the escapade, her Parisian label Manoush was born, a melange of gypsy influences and wearable clothes.
