On another actress or singer, wearing an electric blue hairpiece may seem tacky, unflattering or even slutty – but I guess Christina Aguilera has the knack for being able to pull off the extremes, be it in her clothes, makeup or hairstyle.

The 27-year old singer donned a shockingly blue hairpiece while shooting her Just Keeps Getting Better video. She paired it with a quite muted (for her, at least) makeup, a black-and-white polka dot sleeveless shift dress and a wealth of bold accessories.

And I must say that the look worked for her. The music video that the chanteuse is working on is for the release of her first greatest hits album which is also entitled “Just Keeps Gettin’ Better – A Decade of Hits”.

The album is a compilation of the singer’s greatest hits since she joined the music industry since 1992.

Christina’s greatest hits album will be released in Europe first on November 7, then it will be available exclusively in Target stores starting on November 11.
