If you’re a gorgeous actress who’s love of fashion shows through your taste in clothes – pairing your designer frock with a watch of a brand other than the one you’re endorsing is a very costly mistake.

For actress Charlize Theron, that cost is an astounding $20million.

Charlize was photographed wearing a Christian Dior time pieces at a recent film festival, while she’s still in contract with Raymond Weil.

Raymond Weil is a Swiss firm which claims to have paid the 33-year old actress to be the face behind its Shine range of watches. As it probably is common with other exclusive modeling contracts, Charlize was supposed to wear timepieces from the line that she endorses whenever she’s out in public events.

Fraud and breach of contract were the cases filed against the actress, and they Raymond Weil firm is seeking up to $20M in damages. A trial for the case is set this October.

I guess that’s the price that she has to pay because she or her stylist forgot the fact that she’s in contract with another brand when she wore that Christian Dior watch!
