Katherine Heigl’s white sundress isn’t much to write home about, but the dramatic green python leather handbag she’s carrying is. Perhaps the starlet is finally starting to dabble with some designer fashion? The handbag boasts stylish bow tie details on the sides as well as a simple short rounded strap, but it’s the brilliant emerald hue that makes it pop. The big question is, who designed it? Nancy Gonzales? Any guesses?

Are Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz sharing closets? Both stars have both been seen sporting Yves Saint Laurent’s wickedly stylish black crocodile Tribute Tote. Now that’s friendship. The slick black handbag with gold hardware looks great with Drew’s black and white sundress, and it’s nice to see her come out of her hippie-chick shell a bit. In case you haven’t noticed, this flat tote is one of the summer’s most celeb-favored purses.

Man, I love summer. The handbags that come with it are fun, bright, sexy, and just plain exciting. I’m currently ogling this Westerly Clutch from Trina Turk, one of my favorite womenswear designers.
