If you’re still in that mindset wherein you think you’re young and will still wait a few more years before you see crow’s feet and other wrinkles, well shove that out of the window right now! Here’s a big reminder for us ladies (which, by the way, should be put in big neon signs everywhere!): the sun’s very harmful ultraviolet rays play a big role in premature wrinkles and you simply MUST do everything in your power to protect your skin lest you endanger your health! Okay, that was a mouthful but an important reminder nonetheless!
Tanning
Summer is here and there’s one cream that we ladies should not leave home without…sunscreens! In this day and age wherein people need to be more cautious and aware of the harmful effects of too much sun exposure, we need to have a reliable, effective sunblock cream. And one of the most recommended brand by dermatologists is Ombrelle.

Your gorgeous, glittering glow? That faded two weeks ago. The deep dark "slimming" tan? It's now a mess of freckles, sun spots, and dry patches all over your shoulders.
Summer came and went, along with it, that beautiful, sun-kissed skin. In its place is The Aftermath, but not to fear! Forbes has asked dermatologists and skincare experts how to salvage summer skin - ...

Given that it's a gloriously warm and sunny weekend day at the peak of summer, it's the perfect time to talk about tans, tanning, and just "being tan."
A deep, dark, St. Tropez tan is style that will stick. Entertainment and media have tried to shift the idea by glamorizing fair-skinned beauties like Nicole Kidman, Rose McGowan, and Liv Tyler. Even with every outlet -- whether it's media, internet ...
Part of the exciting part of my hubby setting up shop in Texas City is that he is super close to the beach - which I LUVVVVVVVVVV. I am a beach baby from way back. So, in the interest of not burning my blonde self up (and my blonde babies too), and of course not revisiting the not-so-lovely world of skin cancer, I have packed an assortment of luscious sunscreens from one of my favorite skin care lines, ...
Sadly, I haven’t tried most of these yet (with the exception of the Dove Energy Glow, which is GREAT), but am so pleased with my GlowFusion spray tanner, I just can’t bear to go back to lotions and worrying about scrubbing my hands without getting the lotion off the top of my hands (not a big deal with the Dove). But I realize that not everyone is so obsessed with spray tanning, and isn’t going to run ...
Olay and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery have joined efforts this month, in honor of Skin Cancer Awareness month, and they are inviting you and a friend to get a free skin cancer screening.
Their premise is that if you have a friend there with you to hold each others hand and be brave together, you will get a screening done, whereas if left to your own devices, you might not do this important task. And ...
Technology isn’t just for geeks anymore - there are some wonderful offerings in the beauty niche too! Spend a little money and then save a little by replacing a whole team of beauty specialists with a few great beauty gadgets. Try the pimple buster from Thermaclear which zaps your zits with concentrated heat. Try a microdermabrasion brush, a steamer, the Panasonic Pore Cleanser and the Clarisonic facial brush, and wash that esthetician down the drain. Your ...
This is Fusion Beauty’s GlowFusion spray tanner. Yes, I am back in tanning mode after taking a little time off for winter. I have lusted for this since last year when it came out, and finally sprung for it. This puppy is a cool $175 (at Sephora), but overall, it is money well spent. What do I like so much about it that makes it worth that kind of money, you might ask? ...
Or not to tan, that is the question. For me, going pasty is not an option, and sun tanning is not an option either. I don’t do the sun, so this year I am trying the new Glow Fusion spray tanner, it has some great advantages over other spray tanners - it is cordless, rechargeable, and refillable. There are also some great new lotions out to choose from including Dove Beauty’s Energy Glow with subtle self ...
You might remember early last summer I discovered Dr. Neil Schultz and his Stallex skin care line. I had an opportunity to try his sun protection products, and absolutely loved them. I still do - the sunscreen pads are the greatest - and most convenient sunscreen *ever*. Stallex is a mid price range product line, very affordable compared to many other doctor developed lines, and well worth your attention. As we kick off ...
Once again, I am behind. I have had this article for nearly a week, but didn’t want to let it go by if you all haven’t seen it. There are so many spas out there these days that are just plain ol not being run properly, and having procedures done improperly and not supervised by doctors. Be careful out there, and do your research before you go to one.
Laser treatments are so popular these days, they ...
Don’t you just love Dove? They have been on the cutting edge of what women want for a long time, and they know we always love a contest!
Coinciding with the launch of their brand new line of “moisturizers with subtle self tanner,” Energy Glow, they have a new essay contest, Look Like Summer, Feel Like Summer, in which they ask women to write essays about “summer experiences that make them glow.” ...
