Julianne Moore first wore this grey strapless YSL Spring 2008 dress to the Boucheron Celebratory Dinner, during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week last month.

I am totally in love with this collection. So far this fashion week we have seen so many browns, mauves, olives, blacks and other deep colours, so it was refreshing to see such a wonderful colourful collection. It had a very rockabilly edge to it but with luxurious textures and beautiful fur scarves.
Most of the collection was skirted, but there was the occasional trouser (3 out of 35 ensembles)

The Proenza Schouler collection included mini-dresses, metallic coats, mixed-fabric garments and a palette of mustard yellow, purple, green, blue, black, grey and winter whites.
My favourite pieces were the violet folded jacket and the winter white blouse with an oversized bow and the slouchy pants.
This collection was very much for the downtown-minded twenty-something glamour girls, but also the uptown fashion-forward moneyed set, yes women I envy.

We should all get down to the gym because according to Max Azria we should all have tiny waists to fit into his many corseted belts on display with his Fall collection.
As with many of the other Fall collections the palette consisted of midnight blues, mustards, greys and beiges.
My favourite was the taffeta mocha ensemble on the top right. This folded detailing on the necklines was consistent with other pieces.

While in search of a great everyday carryall, I came across this Marc Jacobs Rihanna Bag. Despite its seemingly neutral color, the effect of the silver spray paint finish over clay suede is beautiful up close. The half-circle handles and sturdy turnlock closure are done in pewter, which is not very Jacobs-esque. Rihanna started the year off as a shy girl, without many appearances on the red carpet, then........"Umberella Ella ella eh eh", played on our airways and not only did we see a new 'do on Rihanna, we also saw a transformation as the 'good girl went bad'.
