Kate Beckinsale has come out of nowhere to become one of my favorite style stars. She’s definitely making my best-dressed list with this funky animal print clutch, which adds the perfect amount of flair to her otherwise subdued outfit. Animal print accessories look best with basic ensembles so they’re not competing for attention, just adding a wild kick of personality. Anyone know who designed this clutch? I want to add it to my wish list.

Katherine Heigl’s white sundress isn’t much to write home about, but the dramatic green python leather handbag she’s carrying is. Perhaps the starlet is finally starting to dabble with some designer fashion? The handbag boasts stylish bow tie details on the sides as well as a simple short rounded strap, but it’s the brilliant emerald hue that makes it pop. The big question is, who designed it? Wow. Hard to believe this sophisticated Audrey-Hepburn-in-the-making won our hearts as ponytail-wearing tomboy Joey Potter. Say what you want about Tom, but Katie Holmes looks fabulous in her sunglasses, chic trench, and leather Prada purse. (Suri doesn’t look so bad herself.) If you’re undergoing a fashionista transformation, Prada is a good way to go, and this supple handbag with its simple but chic details like gold hardware and front buckles is an excellent choice. Posh would be so proud.

Okay, so this isn’t the most flattering photo of Kate Walsh, but I have to admit that I was rooting for her in the “Grey’s Anatomy” Meredith/Derek/Addison love triangle. The actress is seen with a slightly tame but definitely versatile and supple-looking tan leather purse to complement her pink maxi-dress, but I can’t place the designer. The handbag is a nice grab-and-go bag thanks to its simple, goes-with-everything design and rounded handle. Do you know who designed it?
