In January Cashmere Mafia actress Lucy Liu wore a Alexander McQueen Drape-front dress to the taping of Late Show with David Letterman.
This fuchsia silk crepe satin dress with shawl drape on front is now available to purchase from NET-A-PORTER.COM. The dress comes with a contrast black patent leather belt.
This dress also appeared on the runway for the Fall 2008 collection.

This Lanvin Fall 2008 collection was more edgy than previous collections.
The collection included dramatic black LBD's, costume jewelery, 1980s styling, power dressing and embellishments.
All the pieces were wearable and versatile, with incredibly beautiful cocktail dresses, chic suiting, skinny black trouser suits and strikingly embellished evening-wear.
The colour palette was subdued with mostly black with some grey, creamy beige and gold.
Elbaz designs for the strong woman who longs for a little luxury. My favourite was the creamy beige ...

What first struck me from the John Galliano Fall 2008 collection was the bright colours. The palette was full of salmon pinks, pale blues, teals, and burgundies, to add some light to a mostly black Fall season.
Galliano’s collection featured lots of layering contrasted with slim-fitting jackets. Dark, gritty colours were the staple of the collection, accentuated by medieval hats, robes and shoes.
Galliano & Pat McGrath are cutting edge when it comes to colourful makeup.

Cashmere Mafia member, Lucy Liu, attended Christian Dior's Autumn/Winter '08 collection in Paris dressed a lot like her character in a white Dior skirt suit and Dior handbag. Her crisp look takes power suit to new, feminine heights. On a different note, did you know that Lucy is also a painter? So much so that she has an exhibit opening in Munich on May 8. Who knew the Fab actress was so multitalented!

Cashmere Mafia got a little more sensitive last night. The usually career-crazy Mia Mason stopped worrying about work (and love) for once and thought about adopting a dog. Aw! On the flip side, Caitlin Dowd's love life went on a hiatus for her career. I was quite happy about that â€" her personal life is a bit too dramatic for my taste. Speaking of drama, now that Zoe is no longer a working woman, she moved on to controlling ...

Just the genre I love. If it has bombs, gore, guns and games, then that’s my movie! Here are the
10 best action movies that I’ve seen. You can’t miss even one of these if you’re

Bows aren't going anywhere this Fall so these Gucci dresses prove to be au courant. This is a tough one because both of these ladies are pale and wear drama well. Which bowed Gucci frock wins your heart?

Battle of the Gucci: von Teese vs. Liu
Dita hands down. It's like a modern pin up girl dress.
Lucy. The assymetrical folds elongate her svelte figure.
Neither (gasp)!

We're four episodes into Cashmere Mafia and I still haven't made up my mind about the show and the wardrobe. Yes, I respect costume designer Patricia Field for her work on Sex and the City, but overall, the outfits are a bit unrealistic. I mean, do these women ever take off those trendy belts?
One look I did admire from this week's episode, "The Deciders," was that of Lucy Liu's character, Mia Mason. She made making her ...

The Valentino Spring 2008 lavender dress that Lucy Liu is not so bad on it's own.
The pink Valentino Fall 2007 Couture jacket is also not bad on its own, worn properly.
Together....? well just see above.
Hideous.
This is just too hard to defend.
Regular readers will know I love a girl who takes a risk, but this is just a step too far.
What the hell was she thinking?

Judging by Lucy Liu’s haute-to-trot outfit (and dazzling gold Valentino braided leather purse), her new show “Cashmere Mafia” is picking up right where “Sex and the City” left off. Lucy’s beautifully draped hot pink dress is to die for, her white coat is sublime, and the ridiculously luxurious Valentino is the icing on the cake. I can’t wait to start ogling the killer fashions this show promises.

Yesterday I showed you how to get Lucy's hot-pink Alexander McQueen Look For Less, and today she's up for a style battle. The dress she wore for her Late Show appearance earlier this week is one and the same as the black McQueen dress Sienna Miller wore for the premiere of her film Interview back in October. Lucy went more bold with brighter color and leather gloves, while Sienna played it sleek and chic with a contrasting clutch ...

Cashmere Mafia actress Lucy Liu arrived at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York for an appearance on Late Show with David Letterman wearing a hot pink Alexander McQueen Spring 2008 dress yesterday.
Her choice is very chic, from the gloves to the asymmetrical seaming to the banded hem.
LOVE, Love, love.
Sienna Miller wore the same dress in black - more somberly - with a pair of platform shoes, to her premiere of Interview in London back in October.
I ...

Cashmere Mafia leading lady Lucy Liu looked beyond amazing in a hot pink silk dress at the The Late Show. I love her daring opera-length leather gloves and circle earrings. You think perhaps Mafia costumer designer Patricia Field helped her out? Whether Pat worked her magic or Lucy did her own styling, here's a look (for less) worth imitating.

Finally, the moment I've been waiting for ever since Sex and the City wrapped . . . ok, maybe not, but I'm excited that Cashmere Mafia finally premiered. Did you watch?! It delivered all that I hoped for: fabulous women, even more fabulous wardrobes, and a New York City backdrop. If you're not convinced of the Mafia's power, check out the Cashmere Mafia eMagazine to learn about the characters, find out where in NYC the drama happens, and ...
