It’s not often that I say this, but I totally dig what Paris Hilton is wearing (minus that silly hat). My favorite part is the quilted black leather Chanel purse she’s carrying. It’s stylish and classic, but the chain link strap gives it a youthful, modern edge that suits Paris’s style. Jessica Alba has the same Chanel bag in a bronzey metallic. Courteney Cox has found a keeper. And no, I’m not talking about husband David Arquette. She’s apparently fallen for her quilted leather Chanel purse, which is one of the most popular handbags out right now. That’s no doubt due to the gorgeous double chain handles and sleek, slender front flap design. I love the smoky gray hue of Courteney’s purse - I wonder if she meant it to match David’s jeans?

I’m not sure if Jessica Alba’s bronzey metallic Chanel purse goes all that well with her gray sweater dress, but hey, it’s still a fabulous handbag. Quilted leather is a big trend right now, with both Chanel and Marc Jacobs making waves. I also love this purse’s chain strap. The look is glamorous but sophisticated without trying too hard. We’ve always known that Alba had amazing taste in clothes, and this is just further evidence.

Boxy isn’t my shape of choice when it comes to handbags, but there’s something about this Chanel purse that makes me want to reconsider. The Square Stitched Logo Baguette is all dressed up in cotton candy pink leather, with zig-zaggy topstitching forming large boxes all over it.
