Catherine Malandrino recently told us she loves dresses . . . and she wasn't lying. Both Carmen Electra and Paris Hilton own her deep V dress with butterfly embroidery. Carmen wore her orchid-color one in December at The Trevor Project's 10th Annual Gala in LA, while Paris wore her turquoise version yesterday during a party-hopping session with sister Nicky. DJ Mark Ronson's concert in LA brought out many celebs, including the lovely Carmen Electra. The actress was dressed down but still stylish in her Joie feather-print blouse, wide-leg black jeans and Balenciaga motorcycle bag. The beaded bracelets with the bangles create a grungy effect perfect for a concert. And it looks like black nail polish is here to stay through Fall.

On Saturday, September 15th, 2007, Carmen Electra hosted The Thread House Fashion Show at Fever Nightclub in Atlanta, GA. The internationally adored celebrity and icon came straight from New York Cities Fashion Week to the delight over 1,500 fans and guests at Fever. Marc Jacobs collection was very much in keeping with the Fashion Week trends, color-blocking, sequins, nude and natural colors with added purple's, pink's and orange's.
This collection is not my personal taste, but impressive none the less.

Lace is very pretty, but when paired with a babydoll silhouette, like here on Carmen Electra, it tends to look childish and cheap. For some reason Carmen insists on dressing too young for her age. Don't get me wrong, she's a gorgeous woman, but I think she would have looked much more glamorous in a floor-length gown. Are you with me?
