At Prada's Trembled Blossoms event in LA last night, the celebs came decked in Miuccia's duds. While some went bold, new mama Nicole Richie and Brooke Shields kept it rather tame in Miu Miu. Brooke's strapless blue dress shined, while Nicole's Miu Miu Cotton Babydoll Dress ($995) did origami tricks on us. So, who wins this battle?

Brooke Shields proves that you can have your cake and eat it too by carrying this sweet piece of arm candy. The beige woven leather handbag with cool straps smacks of Bottega Veneta, but we’ve seen a lot of other big designers dappling in woven leather of late. One thing’s for sure - this is a gorgeous purse that’s roomy and chic at the same time.

While filming an epi sode on the New York set of her new NBC series “Lipstick Jungle” - based on the novel by Candace Bushnell - star Brooke Shields somehow became locked in her trailer with her two young daughters yesterday. When crew members failed to pry open the front door, one intrepid crewman eventually climbed through the window to rescue the actress.

Britney Spears mother and estranged husband Kevin Federline are joining forces to help Britney recover from her addictions and reported depression.
“Everyone is making comments how sad it is that it took this to get everyone together,” a source close to Federline tells PEOPLE. “There was a lot of distance between the families but it seems now they all have a common goal, which is to help Britney get better.”
