Ah! Milan Fashion Week….Sometimes I wish I lived in Italy to soak in all the fashion and be one with it. Well dreams aside, the Milan Fashion Week saw a wonderful amalgamation of bright colors, sheer fabric, ruffles, high heels, short hemlines (Yaay!) , a confirmation of the return of shoulder pads (Why God why!) and power suits….Here are some of the looks that walked down the ramp. Every time summer runs to its end, I get a little bit sad. No more flirty wedges, no more white summer dresses for the next 8 long months! And with the Christmas holidays being so far away, there’s nothing else, but fall with its rainy days, gray sky and chilly mornings.
So, what a girl to do to find it in her heart to look smashing every morning and feel fabulous in and out too? Wearing some provocative clothes or some lace lingerie could help … It would certainly catch your man’s eye:

When the news swept across the nation that John Hughes has passed away, many designers went back into the past and brought back some of the most popular school girl styles from his films such as “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” “Sixteen Candles,” and “The Breakfast Club” into this year’s fall-winter fashion.
Many of the schoolgirl classics have started to turn up on all fall-winter 2009-2010 runways. I am personally thrilled for the “School Girl” trend to make such a great come back. And what about you, do you look forward to seeing this era being brought back to the world?
