vTap launches today, and whilst Kat over at Tech Digest has had rather an unappealing introduction, I found a lot more to be excited about. I spoke to the people behind the service last week, and they're adamant that in The Future, we're going to eyeing up all our news, views and TV programmes whilst we're out and about.

More Ghost Furniture pieces and what inspired me to create them. These are not on the site yet as we are waiting for a long sunny day to photograph them - keep everything crossed for me.
A wine table in those gorgeous blushing grape colours.
A piece of shattered silk I nearly bought via Tara of Paris Parfait. It inspired me to create a chair using shattered silk from a Victorian skirt. Thanks Tara...
You just know when you look at these fabulous terracotta items that they are going to be French. You see this sort of stuff in old charcuterie all over France and find that they were made eons ago. I am thrilled I found these as I want them some of them for my new kitchen.
All hand made and fired at 1000 degrees in a ceramic oven then hand painted. From Guenilee Courcoux

Things have come a long way since I was a knitwear designer in the 80s. It seems you can knit anything nowadays. I just wish I could knit an extension for my cottage then I wouldn't have to have another meeting with a builder.
All found at The British Hand Knitting Association
Now it takes a fair bit to get me excited about art, but this is one site you won't want to miss as it combines some of the funkiest drawings I've seen in a while with tongue in cheek messages and even free to download wallpapers.. I love the graphic art, and would even consider ordering one of his works on canvas It's nice to see artists out there creat
Wind-up radios have, for a while now, been the default eco-friendly option for music on the go and around the house. However, companies like PURE have been working on creating an environmentally sound alternative that means no compromise on crystal clear listening pleasure.
If you've decided to jump into the high definition ocean of Blu-ray, where the very plankton is produced in eye-exploding levels of detail, and the fish themselves have little mind explosions every seven seconds as they rediscover the clarity of the picture, you could buy Dell.
From hero to zero, the toast of the town to the mental polar bear no one wants to play with. Oh dear. Apparently, Knut, the most famous polar bear in the world, has become so addicted to fame that when the zoo was shut because of black ice, he howled and cried until some poor zookeeper minions stood in front of his pen gazing in adulation.
Tokyo Flash watches are the ultimate in geek chic, perfectly blending style with the ability to completely baffle non-nerdlings. I've had one, and whilst it completely foxed me when I reached over mid-slumber to get the time, it came into its own as a conversation starter. And it helped my maths, as well...
Well, you lucky lot, we've got four to give away,
It can get to the point with laptop cases, bags and sleeves where it's hard to get enthused unless they're ugly as hell or really, really beautiful. At least with Redmaloo there's a third option: enjoying the unusual, practical design.
One photographer I've had my eye on for a little while now is central Virginia based photographer Casey Templeton. Casey won the 2005 College Photographer of the Year award and shot for National Geographic as part of an internship in 2006.
Since that time he has been shooting weddings, and even though he's a relative newbie to the whole wedding scene I can see how talented he is, and how much more talented he's becoming with each new wedding ...
Rome has been wonderful so far, and I regret that my time here was so short. Everywhere you turn there is such a sense of history and wonder.
My first real impression of the city was coming up from the subway (Colosseo stop) and finding this in front of you. It literally took my breath away! Seeing it in books and photos cannot do justice to the sense of awe I felt at seeing this piece of the ...
I really love this idea. D Garden Collection in France does some fabulous banners for people like me who can kill a plant by just looking at it. A great way to decorate a big plain garden wall or separate an area. I could hide my wheelie bins behind some of these.
When we had our offices and warehouse and two homes I used to be like a jailer and would have to mark my keys with colours so I knew which was which. 2 years later and I find this and only have one set of keys to worry about. Oh well.
